SG-Art…full living
Welcome to SG-Art…full Living: Where Creativity Meets Purpose
A Journey Toward a Mindful, Purposeful, and Beautiful Life - A way of being, making, and seeing
It is about approaching life as an art form. It is a way of living with attention, care, and sensitivity, to space, to nature, to daily rhythms, and to what quietly matters. It brings together mindfulness and lifestyle, creativity and beauty, presence and companionship. Here, life is not rushed or perfected. It is observed, shaped, tended, and lived with intention.
SG-Art… Full Living unfolds through three interwoven paths: the Art of Living, The Art of Being and The Art of Creating Beauty
The Art of Living
Mindfulness, harmony, and everyday practice
The Art of Living explores how we inhabit our days — how we move through time, space, and experience. This includes mindfulness, lifestyle choices, feng shui, and seasonal awareness. It is about cultivating balance, simplicity, and quiet alignment in everyday life. Small rituals, thoughtful spaces, and conscious attention become ways of supporting inner clarity and ease.

The Art of Creating Beauty
Making, tending, and creative expression
Creating beauty is not separate from living — it is one of its most natural expressions. This path includes gardening, decorating, writing, painting, and creative process itself. Beauty is approached not as decoration alone, but as a way of relating to the world — through hands, eyes, patience, and care. Here, making becomes a form of listening.

The Art of Being
Presence, companionship, and gentle connection
The Art of Being is about relationship — with animals, with others, and with ourselves. Life with cats, companionship, care, and everyday love are not side notes here, but teachers of presence and gentleness. Through them, we learn attentiveness, stillness, and the value of simply being rather than doing.

Inspiration is often seen as something rare, an unpredictable spark that appears only during extraordinary moments. However, over time I have learned that inspiration can be found in the simplest parts of everyday life. It doesn’t always arrive in dramatic bursts of creativity; sometimes it quietly reveals itself through routine, observation, and reflection. For me, finding inspiration every day is less about waiting for it and more about creating the right mindset to notice it.
Bathrooms should be the apotheosis of scent. Yes, I said it. They should be the best-smelling room in the house.
I know this isn’t easy. Bathrooms are, at best, utilitarian. They’re rarely loved, seldom glamorous, often cold, and usually treated as purely functional spaces. But hear me out: embrace your bathroom exactly as it is, in its dullness, its practicality, its unglamorous purpose. See it as a blank canvas, and turn it into the most beautifully scented room in your home (in the good way).
Have you ever wondered what self-trust actually is and why it feels so hard to access when you need it most?
Self-trust is often misunderstood. Many people think it means always being right, always being confident, or never doubting yourself. But that’s not what it is at all. Self-trust is the quiet confidence that you can rely on yourself, your judgment, your values, your perceptions, and your ability to handle whatever happens next. It isn’t arrogance. It isn’t blind certainty. It’s the steady belief that even if you make a mistake, you won’t abandon yourself because of it. In a world that constantly pushes us to look outward for validation, self-trust is an inward anchor.
We hear the word alignment everywhere. “Live in alignment.” “Make aligned decisions.” “Find your aligned path.” But what does that actually mean? Let’s simplify it.
Home, Garden & Balance
A home is not just a collection of rooms. It is a living emotional landscape. Each space holds a different kind of energy. Each room supports a different part of our lives. From a feng shui perspective, art is one of the most powerful tools we have for shaping how that energy moves, settles, and speaks to us. Not through rules. But through resonance.
There is something quietly sacred about living with a cat. Some would say it is a privilege.
Cats do not rush. They do not perform. They do not explain themselves. They simply are. And in doing so, they offer one of the purest lessons in presence, creativity, and emotional regulation that many artists and homeowners will ever receive.
The Fire Horse year carries intense Yang energy: speed, independence, leadership, passion, visibility, and transformation. When supported well, it brings courage, success, recognition, and breakthroughs. When unmanaged, it can create burnout, impulsiveness, conflict, and instability.
Feng shui practitioners around the world are preparing for the arrival of the Fire Horse year, one of the most dynamic and high-octane combinations in the Chinese metaphysical calendar. Beginning in mid-February 2026, the Fire Horse ushers in a period associated with speed, transformation, bold action, and heightened emotion. While this energy can bring opportunity and momentum, it also requires careful preparation to avoid burnout and instability.
As 2026 is now here, I am acutely aware that this year will be one of the most demanding and focused periods of my artistic life so far. I aim to no longer work in fragments or short bursts of inspiration; instead, I am committing to a structured and intentional plan that supports both creative growth and long-term artistic direction. At the heart of this plan are two ongoing painting series that mean a great deal to me: The Swimmers and The Lavender Fields, alongside several ambitious new works and the beginnings of a book.
SG Art was created from a simple belief: that art is not separate from everyday life. It is something we live with, grow alongside, and return to for grounding, inspiration, and calm. More than decoration, art can shape how we feel in our spaces and how we move through the world.
As nearly the month of January 2026 has passed, the initial excitement of New Year’s resolutions begins to settle into everyday reality. While enthusiasm is high at the start of the year, long-term success depends on what happens after January ends. Increasingly, experts and individuals alike are shifting their focus from quick wins to sustained commitment, recognising that lasting change is built through planning, accountability, and self-compassion.
In a world that often feels busy and overstimulating, our homes have become more than just places to live. They are spaces where we rest, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves. Mindful art plays an important role in shaping calm interiors, helping to create peaceful, grounding spaces that support wellbeing and emotional balance.
January has long been associated with bold resolutions and strict self-imposed rules. But in January 2026, a noticeable shift is taking place. Instead of rigid commitments that often fade by February, many people are embracing a more sustainable approach to self-improvement, one centered on habits and routines rather than rules.
At the beginning of each year, I always feel a quiet pull to reset, not in a dramatic way, but gently. A clearing of space. A soft recalibration of energy. Over time, I’ve realised that art plays a much bigger role in this process than I once thought…
Every new year arrives with a familiar sense of hope. We set resolutions with genuine intention, to change habits, improve wellbeing, or move closer to the life we imagine for ourselves. Yet, for many of us, that initial motivation fades within weeks. By February, resolutions are often forgotten, replaced by old routines and quiet disappointment.
As we move into a new year, the way we engage with art is quietly evolving. Rather than chasing fast trends or decorative statements, we are increasingly seeking work that supports conscious living, art that feels grounding, intentional, and emotionally resonant. This shift is not as a trend, but a return to something timeless: living with art that reflects how we want to feel in our homes and in our lives.
January 2026 has arrived with a renewed sense of purpose as individuals and families across the globe set New Year resolutions focused on lasting change rather than short-lived results. After years marked by rapid change, uncertainty, and shifting priorities, many people are entering the new year with a more thoughtful and intentional approach to personal growth.
The New Year is more than a change of dates, it’s an energetic reset. In Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese art of harmonising your environment, the transition into a new year is a powerful moment to release stagnant energy and invite in fresh opportunities, health, and prosperity. By making thoughtful adjustments to your home and habits, you can align yourself with positive flow (chi) and start the year with intention.
Christmas Day may be over, but the season doesn’t have to end abruptly. The days just after the holidays offer a beautiful opportunity to slow down, tidy up, and reflect on the moments that made the season special. Rather than rushing straight into clean-up mode or feeling a post-holiday slump, December 27 is the perfect time to close the season with intention, gratitude, and care.
As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Your support, time, and connection have meant so much to us throughout the year, and we’re truly grateful to have you here.
Christmas is a season of warmth, reflection, and togetherness, and we hope yours is filled with joy, peace, and meaningful moments, however you choose to celebrate.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for making this year so special. We look forward to sharing more with you in the year ahead.

I am sure that most of you will agree, that as cat owners, we believe that in our homes where serenity and beauty coexist, even our pets deserve spaces that reflect calm and care.
Cats, in particular, seek quiet, elevated spots where they can observe the world in comfort and safety. Designing cat-friendly corners with aesthetic intention not only nurtures your feline companion but also enhances our home’s overall sense of harmony, a perfect blend of form, function, and Feng Shui.
Your home is more than a place to live: it is a living narrative. Every room, every object, every brushstroke on the wall tells a story about who you are and what you love. When approached with intention, your home can become a private gallery, one that reflects not just your style but your spirit. The art you display and how you display it, can transform everyday space into something soulful, sophisticated, and deeply personal.
When you walk into a space that just feels right, calm, balanced, and inviting, you are likely sensing the subtle power of feng shui at work. Rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy, feng shui (pronounced fung shway) is the art of arranging your environment to promote harmony, vitality, and the smooth flow of energy, or chi. At its core, feng shui is about creating a home that supports your well-being on every level.
