Pure Bliss is an exploration of stillness and inner calm. Created through a slow, layered oil painting process, the work captures a quiet moment of balance and presence. Its gentle composition and serene palette invite reflection, making it a grounding presence within a living space.

Pure Bliss is an oil painting on a stretched 120 x 180cm canvas. It took me just over a month and a half to do it (March - April 2020). It was inspired by a photo. It captures the peace you may feel when you are just floating in a river. It reminded me of moments of pure joy and bliss I had in my teenage years whilst on holidays. I very much enjoyed painting this scene.

The colors used are Blue Prussian, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, and White Titanium.
